RPI Roller Hockey Club

Anyone is welcome to play roller hockey with the RPI roller hockey club. Your level of skill doesn't matter. We will be playing at the Beman Park tennis courts(red circle). Parking is available on the road opposite the hospital parking lots. Note: Due to rules about union clubs going off campus, games here will not be an "official" roller hockey club meeting. Just a bunch of people on the roller hockey club getting together to play some roller hockey.

The purpose of the roller hockey club is to play roller hockey. Plain and simple. We have permission to use the three tiered parking lots up behind the field house. We can't play in the '87 gym (thin floors) or any of the RPI tennis courts.

I have uploaded some pictures of us playing hockey. They range from moderately blurry to artistic (very blurry). If you want a copy of one of these pictures I hear Kinko's is open 24/7. Photos can be found here.

We were approved as a Union recognized club on Monday May 1, 2006 by the E-board in a unanimous 8-0-0 vote. If you were at the meeting or if you emailed me your RIN you will be added as a member. There used to be a roller hockey club at RPI, but it faded away when they redid the parking lots and they had nowhere to play. After reading through the emails I concluded that their failure was due to the fact that the puckman picture on their website is not wearing rollerblades like the one I copied off of the facebook group started by Joe Pietras.
